What does Elizabeth Smith Paper Designs make?

Personalized paper goods with hand-drawn designs: photo Christmas cards, Christmas and everyday gift tags, stationery and notecards, notepads, invitations for birthdays, showers and weddings, classroom valentines, Halloween and Easter tags, water-resistant name labels, laminated luggage tags and placemats, stickers, and personalized party cups and napkins.

Where is Elizabeth Smith Paper Designs located?

We are a stationery studio in Mountain Brook, Alabama, in the Birmingham area. Every design is drawn and personalized by Elizabeth Smith.

Can I see what my photo will look like on a Christmas card before I order?

Yes. On photo Christmas cards, upload your photo on the product page and a preview shows it placed in the card's photo window, so you can see exactly how it will look before you add it to your cart.

What is the Print at Home option?

Many Christmas cards and gift tags come in a Print at Home (editable) version. After checkout, your order confirmation email includes a Canva link. Open it, make your own copy, add your photo and names, then print at home or at a photo lab. Nothing ships, so it's ready right away.

Do I need a paid Canva account for Print at Home designs?

You'll need a Canva account, and a free one works to open the link and make your own copy of the design.

What comes with printed Christmas cards?

Each listing lists the card size, paper and quantity. For example, our 5x7 photo Christmas cards are printed on 120 lb eggshell ultra white cardstock and include straight-flap envelopes.

Can I add envelope liners or envelope addressing?

Yes. Printed envelope liners and envelope addressing are available in our Envelope Extras collection and can be added to stationery, invitations and Christmas cards.

How long do personalized party cups take?

Please plan on about two weeks for personalized party cups. If you need them sooner, a $75 rush fee is available.

How do I add my names or personalization?

Type your names, dates or wording in the personalization box on the product page before adding the item to your cart.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping within the U.S. starts at $8, and international shipping is available at checkout. Print at Home designs are delivered by email, so there's no shipping on those.

How long does it take to get my order?

Our turnaround time is currently about 5 business days before your order ships. Print at Home designs arrive by email right after checkout.

Do you offer local pickup in Birmingham?

Yes. Porch pickup is offered for customers in Birmingham, Alabama.
